Bella Napoli Savannah is a brand identity redesign project for a beloved local Italian bistro aiming to elevate its presence while preserving its warmth. This holistic rebranding includes a refreshed logo suite, social media direction, storefront design, and a seasonal menu revamp—all rooted in the restaurant’s existing charm. 
Bella Napoli’s original branding lacked cohesion across touchpoints, relying heavily on outdated type and visuals that didn’t reflect the care and flavor in their cuisine. The redesign project seeks to unify their identity while celebrating their best-loved elements—especially their signature red checkered tablecloths and whimsical Italian figure illustrations already featured in the space. 







Inspired by these character-rich details, the new icon mark is hand-drawn, echoing the lively linework of vintage Italian signage. The red check print was reinterpreted as a brand motif—applied across collateral for brand recognition. A fresh but rooted color palette of maroon, sun-washed cream, and accents of olive green brings warmth and familiarity, while a modern condensed slab serif font gives typographic weight to the brand’s Italian heritage in a cleaner, more contemporary form.

The updated menu is structured , social media posts feature curated dishes, all through cohesive use of branded graphic elements. Storefront designs and signage incorporate layered branding moments that welcome both loyal regulars and first-time diners with visual consistency and warmth. Bella Napoli Savannah doesn’t lose its soul in this redesign—it sharpens it. By retaining its personality while introducing clear systems, textures, and brand architecture, the project creates a dining experience that feels just as heartfelt as the food itself.
